Shipping & Returns

Dispatch and Delivery

  • All orders must include a daytime telephone contact number
  • All orders will be processed within 2 working days of receipt.
  • Delivery will be made between 1-5 days of processing.
  • Items will be shipped via Royal Mail, National Courier or our own fleet. Items shipped via Royal Mail will be sent by first class delivery. Robert Horne will not be responsible for loss or damage.  (A recorded delivery service can be requested at the time of order for which there will be an additional charge.)
  • Items shipped by national couriers will be despatched on a Next Day Service and will require a signature as confirmation of receipt. If the recipient is not available a card will be left advising how the delivery can be claimed.
  • Items shipped via our own transport will be shipped on a Next Day Service. If the recipient is not available the item will be returned to the depot until contact is made by the customer to redeliver.
  • Once shipped you will receive an email informing you which service your order was shipped via. This will also include a reference number.
  • Shipment will only be made in the UK*
  • Please note: all prices stated on the website apply to website orders only, and will not be applied to telephone orders.

  • In order to take advantage of the website prices you must place your order through the website.

  • All orders placed over the telephone will incur a 10% handling and processing charge. (ex VAT)

  • *please note that some rural and remote parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland cannot be serviced.

Non-receipt of Delivery

If you have not received your goods within the order processing and delivery times stated above please email the on-line sales contact at Robert Horne with your order reference number. We will endeavour to respond within 24 hours with information to enable you to track your order. If your order is proven to be lost with 28 days of the order placement date we will refund or replace the goods.

If your order was sent via Royal Mail standard first class delivery we will provide you with proof of posting. We would also recommend that you contact your local sorting office as our parcel may be awaiting collection.  Robert Horne will not replace or refund lost or damaged items.

Returns Policy

Not as Described / Received Wrong Goods

If you should receive your item and it is either not as described or incorrect. Please email us at roberthornedirect or write to us at the address below. You will then be required to fill in a short form outlining the error. Upon receipt of the completed form we will investigate the problem and if we are in agreement we will advise how we will rectify the situation. You then have the right to cancel or have a replacement items sent. All return postage will be credited. We advise you return the goods via a recorded delivery service.
